I just rebooted my vita without the sd2vita adapter. Since the games from my uma0 sd2vita weren't present it reupdated the LiveArea on restart. I rebooted with the sd2vita & since uma0 was present, it regenerated the LiveArea again.

Unfortunately the new setup reset many folders and the position of games. How can I prevent this from happening?

First u should move all content to ux0 = livearea so this won't happen again second I forget the data base file u can backup

No ux0 = livearea only
I'm not sure what you're meaning by this. I used switch sd2vita, mounted uma0 so that my sd2vita has games on it. Is this not the right way to use sd2vita? uma0 is my internal memory card & has my adrenaline games. ux0 has my vita library and is on sd2vita

as I said, you just have to backup your app.db, then replace the new one with that one. then restart. that's it.

That being said, I'm trying it & it doesn't seem like it works as I was expecting. I'll give your manual method a shot now.

do it after resorting your games. folders are called by page and position iirc, actually all games and apps are. both are in the app.db.
