hey guys, I got a question and it's kinda buggin' me

I bought a New 3ds from a friend, and that N3ds is japanese with the Homebrew launcher, meaning that I could play my games with no problem.

My question is: How can I play Pokemon Omega Ruby Online? Since all my 3ds is japanese, I don't know where to go or to proceed.

I'm new here so, if anyone could helpe me I appreciate a lot!!

If you have the Omega Ruby update from the eshop you just open the game and play. If not use Hans to open the Eshop (Eshop icon in Homebrew Launcher) and update Omega ruby. After just launch omega ruby from the home menu and your good to go

you gotta dig about but someone was able to get hans to load the system settinsg and set teh region to JP from an english unit. if you dont want the online functions you can play the game in english by setting the Region spoofing when you launch the game w/ HANS.

Problem is, it's all in Japanese lol

But I'll keep trying, thanks anyway!

The game's language is different from the console's language. I'm not sure about Omega Ruby, but in Pokemon X and Y, the very first time you launch the game, you can set the language to whatever you like.

Yes, I changed to English, but the Eshop is japanese, and I don't know where to go to download all the stuff I need

Oh right, my bad. If you can't get HANS to change the language, then scroll all the way to the left of the eShop icons so that you're on the icon with the bag and the wrench.

I'm not sure which order it is on the list that comes up when you enter that icon, because the menu has changed around quite a bit throughout the years and I haven't used the eShop in a while and don't have internet on my 3DS at the moment. Here's a video showing someone perform an update on some software that you can try and follow along with:
