Did someone say 500GB on the Switch?

And this isn’t really a tutorial.

Are we there yet? Cause even if this was to work, I'm not sure how Horizon would handle/display two SD cards being inserted.
Our best bet would be an "SD2Switch" à la "SD2Vita".

i mean, the sdslot of the switch is kinda modular already and theres some room there, it wouldn't surprise me if it couldn't simply be replaced with one that has two slots.

not sure how the switch itself would interface with it though

Nope. It's just a switcher. You can switch the SD Cards at any time.. though, I don't see the point.

This is bullcr*p. This won't let you use 2 Micro SD cards at the same time.

The Switch only works with 1 MicroSD. Even if you use these "switchers" it will only see 1 of the 2. Not use them both in RAID 0.
So please change your title to avoid people to buy something they can't use.

It'll be useful maybe if 256 GB is not enough the gaming needs? (emulators/homebrews/native Switch games) and the other one could be used for lakka.tv on linux exclusively as the setup fully takes over your SD card.
But since it involves opening the Switch it's less appealing.

I dont think this would require you to open the system. the micro SD extension cable would let you place the switchboard on the back of the console. probably pretty ugly, but wouldnt require opening the system

I bought a 400GB micro SD card on amazon for $150 (and it’s real). That will cover all of my needs for a while.

This just seems like too much hassle for no gain.

Ah I see. Then this beats the idea of portability for me. I though it involved replaced the micro SD slot completely.

if you leave in middle they both work.. now useless maybe.. but im doing a custom case for this and why you say.. so i dont have to keep taken sd card in and out and yes you can use two at once or left side 150gb for whatever right side Linux

ps do you have the part if not dont say shit you dont know
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Is this what counts as a tutorial now?
nooo but i would keep a spot for shit like this i can post... its not a tutorial and i did know where to put it now if you like to point to to the right way maybe can fix instead of thinking of stuff ..
