Hacking how to get dschannels/dualchannel working

I've copied the necessary file to my flash card. It boots fine but the first problem are the icons. It will load the ones that came packaged with the software but the ones I made up show up as a bunch of scrambled pixels. I made the icons is Photoshop and saved them as 80 X 48 pcx files. I used indexed color (don't know if this matters but that's what the other icons used) but that didn't help. Also, the names don't show up when the selection box is around the channel.
After clicking on the application, the patching process seems to work fine but the programs crash with a blank screen on top and a white screen on the bottom. I have tried bitsweeper and Lunar Knights and both crashed in the same manner.
Anybody have any success with this program. It looks frickin' sweet but it doesn't do much good if you can't run your stuff
