Hacking how to get a save onto a retail ds game?

I been trying to get my save i started on my ak2i onto my retail copy of Heart Gold does anyone know what apps i need to use i did try NDS Backup Tool by Rudolph to no avail

for pokemon u have to add a wire to get the save onto the cart
