ur living in the past, man. mai dump - just install. u don't need to download anything to ur computer. that's y vitamin hasn't been updated since 2.0.

Because there's nothing wrong with the current build. I'm sure they're working on a major update anyway. Mai hasn't been updated either.
No matter the format of the games, you still have to FTP them to your Vita. With the Organizer, it's the same but it's been fast for me and never fails.

never used organizer, but I've heard of it. I'm mostly collecting psp game iso's for my pstv and some vita games for my vita.

Vitamin isn't being worked on anymore, TheFlow stated as much on his Twitter (along with the fact that Maidump is technically superior to Vitamin). Maidump has been updated more than Vitamin has for the most part as well, but that doesn't really mean much.

But I would agree and say that either method works fine, there's absolutely no reason to use one dumper over the other and anyone who thinks so is just deluded. With the latest VitaShell update being able to install games/homebrew as a folder, it makes absolutely no difference which one you use now and before then there were multiple ways to install VPKs without using any extra space.

no worries. we're all friends here. ur right about there being alternatives to installing vpk's without taking double the space. I've seen those vpk torrents before with hundreds of games. I just got caught up in the moment.

Wrong. Plenty of games are still dumped in VPK format. There's even torrents with hundreds of them, all verified. Don't spread false information.

But i dont use .vpk anymore. Now with vitashell 1.5 i extract .vpk qnd copy game folder to memory card and install using "More Folder Install" options of vita shell menu is more faster than install using .vpk and dont need extra space ok memory card. Install an game of 3.0gb in just 4 or 6 seconds.

Mai Dump, is past an unuseles,
i just use VITA SHELL choose option MORE and Folder Install, this is the best way.
Plug you PS VITA on PC USB and yor USB PS VITA is displayed on windows explorer.
Download any game .VPK use you WINRAR or 7ZIP extract to any folder you game.vpk
take you folder extracted with content inside eboot.bin etc, move or copy this to root of you ux0: and press TRIANGLE and choose the option MORE and last INSTALL FOLDER.
this will just creat an folder on VITA with game bias like PCSE0001 and will move all content of folder you extract and create before to this folder, and create an icon on live area and last delete you empty folder.
This is best way to install games and install in just 5 or 10 seconds.

but you can unzip using vita shell and install folder, but is not good to do, is waste of time for VITA TV.

Solves my problem with error , in first thanks for everyone here to try helps me.
I have tested the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy in 3 PS VITA and doesnot work.
Try to download an separeted version has Ratchet and Clank 1 2 and 3, but dont work same error,
Then i think in format my PS VITA but first i just formated my MemoryCard, and Try to use the version Ratchet and Clank Trilogy and do not works. (just deleted this crap from my pc and vita for ever)
I have try version Ratchet and Clank 1, 2 and 3, WORKS FINE, no erro anymore.
Try JAK TRILOGY and Works FINE.
Then, for last i have try to install EASY INSTALLER FOR ADRENALINE and SWITCHKAKU 1.06 and others homebrews, but i haved some erros like 0xFFFF or Corrupted files before to force install.
And now i formated all my PS VITA and MC, later i will try do all again.
But problem with error C2-12828-1 is solved.

About a week ago i tried installing a game and it was unsuccessful. I switched out sce_modules, safe mode rebuild, cleared browser and so on. Nothing seemed to work but all the previously installed games worked fine. After tinkering around I found that my DS4 plugin was the issue. I deleted my DS4 controller plugin and removed it from my Bluetooth connection and everything started working fine. As all c2-12828 issues this might not be the fix for everyone but it was something that worked for me and hopefully someone else. the Wiimote plugin may have the same effect.

Even non-HENkaku/HENkaku Enso users are said to be getting this error.

On my end, however, I encountered this problem on two games so far: Digimon World Cybersleuth and Soul Sacrifice Delta.

As of posting time, the error seems present still. I'm running my device on 3.60 HENkaku Enso and was playing a NONPDRM dump of Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster when I encountered the error while in-game.

where is registery files and plugins in memory card? where is games save data ? i dont want format and delete everything and start at first like you?

I fix this error....after a day and search i got it and fix it . THIS PROBLAM BECAUSE A PLUGIN. 1: go in ux0/plugins/ and delete plugin in there my is nonpdrm.skprx. this plugin Causes problem. after delete this plugin in plugins file or in other files 2. go to maidump tool app and choose number 5 and your game name and choose mode number 4 and wait ...after massage success show up go and play your game and its work fine !! if not work go to maidump tool app and choose number 5 and your game name and choose this time mode number 5 and wait ...after massage success show up go and play your game and its work fine !!
