Hacking How to fix game error C2-12828-1?

Henkaku updated, Maidump updated etc. I do not have any plugins installed. I've restarted the Vita and reinstalled, still the same error. I was wondering if anybody can help. Many thanks.

C2-12828-1 is a very generic error, often without any proper reason behind it.

It could just be that the game was badly dumped, or it simply isn't supported by the dumper still. What's the game you're trying to run?

Oddly enough, I could hardly find jack about this particular game. I found a whole one other person who has the issue, and the fix I was going to suggest (replacing the sce_modules) apparently didn't work for them.

So maybe it's just a bad dump and won't work at all.

yea... i've tried many sce_modules.. doesn't work. the only thing i haven't tried is to copy the sce_modules from another pcsc game but because i also can't find another pcsc game, i can't try this out. thanks tho guys

Yeah, I just tried out the MaiDump version of the game myself and it doesn't work for me either. Can't think of any other fixes off the top of my head, but I sincerely hope it can be fixed soon!

I know this is sort of unrelated, but I had this error earlier, only when trying to load HENkaku through the Browser. Turned it off for a few minutes, back on, cleared cookies WHILE the page was loading. Just in case you ever have that with HENkaku.

that error usually occurs when a game or app crashes. it's normal when trying to install henkaku. it shouldn't happen with games unless there's something wrong with them.

Jack Collection i make a dump using VITAMIN 2.0 when i used HENKAKU R3 works, but now is not working anymore.
I tryed all possible methods, like Full Restore on my PS VITA,
tryed another Memory Card full formated
tryed many SCE_MODULES and not works.

May this TAI HENKAKU and HENKAKU R7 is not compatible with this games no more.
I Just tryed once time to a dump using VITAMIN 1.0 to see if it work, because on VITAMIN 2.0 not works.
And the other games is all downloaded, i tryed download to many sites possibles but the error persist.

You probably need to press Start inside vitashell/molecular shell, enable unsafe homebrew, reboot vita. Run taihenkaku again should work fine after.

Maybe try the latest https://github.com/LioMajor/MaiDumpToolEN/releases for the one you have. For the others maybe bad dumps depending on where they're from, or just don't work in general?

Still, working henkaku r3 now not working, that doesn't make sense.

r7 works with games. u need to use mai dumps now instead of vpk files. vpk is only for homebrew anymore. mai will check if there's malicious coding with ur games, so u don't need to enable unsafe homebrew in vita shell. that's only if u want to have access to the file system in its entirety. vita shell/molecular shell now scan for malicious coding as well.

Wrong. Plenty of games are still dumped in VPK format. There's even torrents with hundreds of them, all verified. Don't spread false information.

yea, installing a mai dump is a way around it. all u have to do is extract it, then install. ur still installing a mai dump though.

ur living in the past, man. mai dump - just install. u don't need to download anything to ur computer. that's y vitamin hasn't been updated since 2.0.
