ROM Hack How to extract files from a .cia?

so basically, i have a modded cia file of Alpha Sapphire that someone here gave me, and they told me that i have to extract the model from a certain location in the file. so, how do i extract the file?

also, it would be helpful if someone told me how to run the custom model once i get it extracted.
