Why are people updating ? Yayy i can say i have a unreleased FW on my system but it doesn't change anything to my experience
Is this confirmed? Is 6.0.0 only a "stability" update? Did they not add any features?
If I want to install something to internal storage why the fuck do I have to turn the console off, remove the MicroSD, boot, download my game/DLC, turn off the console, reinsert MicroSD, and boot once more?! The console has been out for a year and a half! How about some basic quality of life features Reggie?!
??? I was asking if 6.0.0 had any feature updates because you suggested that it does not have any significant ones. In the second paragraph I was bitching about the process of installing something to internal storage when you are using a MicroSD card on a unmodified console .

I mean there's cloud storage for saves but i first doubt the serveurs are up now plus if you send your save you'll be banned cause the FW is not released and i was saying that i wouldn't change anything other since most people are already banned. There's (maybe) netflix, YT and internet browser coming but same problem if you're cert banned or even 'normal' banned
There are some new Toad avatars for you to use for your profile as well as some new controller icons that may hint at being able to play retro games on firmware 6.0. It also adds support for online cloud saving via new module.
Yeah, its totally a stability update to enhance the end-user experience.
New avatars?! I'm sold. That's totally worth the ban and breaking Homebrew compatibility (I'm guessing). I look forward to paying to back up my saves as well.
Lol you can just grab the avatar online and install it with devmenu if you're already banned
Yes sir. I have a custom avatars for my offline account. I'm not banned yet and I haven't been careful at all. I used NXShop to download a bunch of stuff. I had a glitch with NXShop where it archived all my software. I used the redownload software feature from horizon to redownload everything including illegitimate titles and DLC. I was surprised that it allowed it. Even more surprised that I haven't been banned. This was a month ago or more. I'm sure upgrading to 6.0.0 and connecting online would be an instant ban though.
Edit: By offline account I mean a user not linked to a Nintendo account.
Edit 2: My comment about the avatars was sarcastic. Of course I wouldn't upgrade for avatars.

Uhhhh yeah there is. It's not out officially but it's already on Nintendo's CDN server. Been for a while now
Damn I hate how useless my banned Switch on 6.0.0 is, can't do nothing besides play xci and nsp games. Wish I never updated so I could play xci and nsp games

I've put down the money on the Odin 2 Mini since I just love that Vita form factor. Loved the power of the Odin 2 but the size always put me off, this one seems exactly what I've been wanting.

On the go tho I meant, I use my 10" tablet and a Bluetooth controller for retro gaming while sitting on my porch or on long car rides sometimes. Easier on my eyes than the Switch screen.
