was this post for me? if so, GW does not work on 1.0, it wont even launch the ds profile hack i think

Use the latest GW firmware on your 1st 3DS, download a rom with download play and host a game from the gateway 3ds. Then on your 1.0 3DS go to the Download Play app and connect. It should prompt you to update.

Also, you should probably download a European rom.

ah, i understand. will try it out this weekend when i travel to my homecity . If anyone has any info on this procedure , if it works, post plz?
