I'm guessing it's in SDCARD>Nintendo>Contents folder somewhere?

There is a 1.29GB file name 00 file in: "G:\Nintendo\Contents\registered\00000090\b201291d3e099872debd1c1870572cc3.nca" folder, is that it?

Same size as the NSP file I installed.

BOTW won't launch now without an update...

Hmm so I copied that 00 file over to my PC and deleted from SDcard, and it was still asking for software update.

So I then installed a lower version of the DLC1 (pack 1 v65536) and the game started fine with no software update request. However I can't see the DLC installed on the games (I only just got the paraglider though as I started fresh).
File was only 100MB though..

it won't lunch cause your save file is matched with the update and dlc installed. you need to install the right version again and dlc.

So you think it's the save file? I can't understand that, as anyone could buy and install the DLC at any time...

yes. if you're fine loosing your saves, which is in your nand, you can restore factory setting and delete all including saves. it should run without the updates.

I'm assuming you used SX OS, as if you used Devmenu you would know that you can manage the game and delete updates/dlc and required version number.

The last three digits for the update for BOTW ends in 896 and will say you have version 1.5 in the title or if you check the game information. If any game asks you to download the update then obiously you don't have the latest version.

Yes I did use sxpro, I guess for now devmenu would be the best option. I was wondering why I was the only one having trouble. I’ll look into how to get dev menu, I’m guessing it’s a modified xci Pokemon game.

Ps I am on 1.3.1 which is the latest version my firmware will support. Hence trying to find dlc compatible with that older version.

if you're on 4.1, you can download the botw rev2, install all dlc including the updates. it should run with your save.
