ROM Hack How to decrypt Games to modify (translate) them?

Hey Guys,

I just wonder how we can decrypt Games to modify them.
I created xorpads of Final Fantasy Explorers, but I'm not sure how we can translate the game and encrypt it then.

The XOR pad stuff is easy, use 3ds file explorer or what ever it is called. There is a ciantoolkit someware to automate the (un)packing of cia and 3ds files.
