Gaming how to connect my nds to a wifi network w/o a wifi game

i would like to know if im able to connect my nds lite to a wifi network w/o having to put in a wifi compatible game. im trying to do do updates for AKAIO cheats, etc. but i cant seem to find it under the setting and i dont have any wifi enabled games. thanks in advance

why dont you just download, for example, Mario Kart NDS and change it in that game?

What kind of DS is it? DSi you can search for available networks under settings from the DSi menu. But as the previous poster said, any WiFi compatible game will also have a set up WiFi option in its menu.

u could try using something like dsorganize, it allows u to setup a connection and detects more connections.
dont use 3.2 but use 3.1 something

i got it working now but for some reason i cant connect to my WEP router from ATT(it's password protected but gives me error saying setting are wrong for your connection) however i can connect to another persons non password protected router

What kind of encryption are you running if 64bit try 128, if 128bit try 64.
