How to change your system version (sorta),This hack allows you to change the number of your idevice firmware (4.2.1, 3.0 ect),I guess this could be useful for 1st gens that want to play some later apps?I know it lets you download ,not so sure how it runs.
1.Ok first get ifile(pro) from cydia
2.Then go into ifile(pro) and search for version(literally just type version) --->Hierarchy
    3. Touch version .plist ---------> open with text editor
4.You should be able to recognize your firmware version in the text, edit it as you wish and save it ,(NOTE if you put the version up higher then 4.2.1 then activator will say it is not compatible with your firmware, ignore it it will still work fine.)

Can someone confirm that you can run newer apps on older firmware

Good job! I will test it on a 2G MC, and "installing" iOS 5 [IMG]

PS: The exact file is SystemVersion.plist and is on /system/library/CoreServices/Systemversion.plist

I recommend you blank out your serial number. [IMG]
