How to back up saves and trophies with Apollo Save Tool
You will need:
- A PS3
- Your save files
- Your trophies
- A USB drive or hard drive formatted to FAT32
Apollo Save Tool
Preparation:
1. Plug your storage device into your PC or Mac.
2. Format the drive to FAT32.
3. Copy the Apollo Save Tool.pkg file onto the drive.
4. Eject your device safely.
On your PS3:
1. Enable HEN if required.
2. Insert your storage device.
3. Navigate to the "install packages" menu.
4. Install Apollo Save Tool.
Backing up with Apollo Save Tool:
1. Open Apollo Save Tool.
2. Navigate to "trophies".
3. Select "export trophies".
4. Back up selected or all trophies to your USB drive.
5. For saves, navigate to "HDD saves".
6. Select "bulk save management".
7. Copy all or selected saves to your USB drive.
This may take some time if you have a lot of trophies and saves.
That's it. Keep your USB drive safe and consider backing up the saves to another location as well. I recommend doing this regularly in case of hardware failure.
