Hacking How much space?

I have a 1 terabyte external hard drive. I want to use it to play games via USB loader. I do not want to use my entire hard drive for games so I plan on partitioning it. How much space would you recommend allocating to Wii games? I was thinking 250 GB would be enough?

Sounds about right... depending on just how many games you expect to have at one time.
I have a 1TB drive as well, and I have formatted 200gb WBFS, 800gb NTFS.
The WBFS partition has 30-40 games on it, and is roughly 75% full.
At this point, I'd honestly consider deleting unused games before increasing the size of the partition.

Its all a matter of what you like though.

Or you could work USB loading directly from FAT32 / NTFS and lose the need to format a dedicated partition to WBFS. Of course, as usual, there are pros and cons of each option.

There is no NTFS option at this point for the majority of USB Loaders... soon perhaps. But not yet.

I am eager for the NTFS conversion, so that I won't have to mess with Partitions.
