My wii doesn't make noise except when the disc is being loaded (where you can hear the lens loading the TOC)...

I got my wii January 2007 and that summer it started making loud clicking noises with every disc it read.
After awhile GCN discs wouldnt read and Wii games would run slow. Not to mention the clicking was horribly louder than my speakers, so I stoped playing it for a good while.
I eventually had to send it in for repairs and now it runs much nicer though some games seem to still seem to have a loud vibrating noise, wich should be normal but it always makes me concerned.
Brawl is one that does it with audabile noises between menus and the like, but ya, nothing out of normal anymore, even though you can feel the thing vibrating quitet a bit. Still, nothing bad.

This is all with real copies of the games btw.
Im still kinda cuatoius about installing a modchip though Im pretty sure it'll be alright. Though Im hoping it doesnt go out again this summer as I think it had something to do with the heat and maybe the DVD drive disc spinner drying up.
Though after repairs they left the drive pointed slightly to the left, no big deal but kinda odd.

Well, I think I'll probly install a YAOSOM chip anyway xD

My Wii? Quiet, except for brawl.

I explain it thus (may not be correct):

Wii Sports - disc contains 300MB of data. Main engine fits entirely in RAM, and the only data read from the disc is a few textures and noises now and again. less seeks = less noise

SSBB - Epicly HUEG [sic] game. Data and music are constantly being read from the disc. More seeks = more noise.

I get the loading noise with MKW alot. Actually its common with most of my backups that you guys mentioned, like Bully and Brawl.

Evebody, if you cant post he type of midia you are using and the game is making some noise is a usefull information... im thinking the problem is in media/burning or my LG Burner... i don't acept this is my wii ...

I think it's pretty common for the Wii to be noisy. Mine's pretty noisy in Brawl too, more than in other games. It's difficult to hear from your recording, but I think mine makes pretty much the same amount of noise.
