How long until avatar updates

What the topic tittle says. I recently updated my avatar and it still the old. I actually reuploeaded 6-9 times right after each other to see if it updates but lol. XD

Clear the cache of your browser. You can do this using CCleaner.

It's supposed to be as soon as you click update.
All I can say is try clearing your browser cache.

Or try Right Click->Reload. Works for me at least.

something sorta related...
everyday, my avatar vanishes, and my posts end up without an avatar...
any ways to fix this?
(usually happens at 12 midnight my time)

forgot to add: i have to copy-paste the link to the image again every time it does that.

Tried saving the image to your computer or uploead it on web hosting site? Tri to uploead the picture from your computer first then the uploeading method. If both doesnt work it might be the total size of the picture. The max file sizes allowed is 80kb and that is counting with your signature. Think of it like this : X+Y=80kb. It can be less of course ^^ but not more than 80kb.

argh! turns out it totals 89kb... so close... and yet so far... aaargh, if only my copy of photoshop wasn't busted, this would be easy...

EDIT 1: well, gonna switch into a non-animated Ai Enma avatar for now... gotta find a way to resize this thing...

EDIT 2: there.. i couldn't bear to resize the animated .GIF, so i resized my sig's photo... well below the 80 kbs now

who knew there are utilities on the net that actually do the job rather well

EDIT 3: forced to upload my avatar to a different site. now everything works fine.
