ojsinnerz, you lost all credibility at "the controls are awkward". Like, what the hell?

Maybe it's because I've been playing some other SRPGs too much lately, but I really don't like the controls on FFTA2. To be honest, it's not awkward, (Will change my review.) but I really don't like how it. The stylus control is very lacking, and I'm not getting used to the D-pad so quickly... It's rather hard to explain....

Two questions for my fellow gamers currently playing this.

1. How many hours have you into it so far?
2. Have you finished the main storyline, and if so - how many hours did you spend to get to the last main story-line battle?

for the record, I'm at 32 hours and it doesn't seem like I've gotten very far. Maybe I need to chill out on taking so many side missions or somerthing...but it seems like I have to in able to learn the abilities for my characters to advance their job class possibilities. It seems to take forever to learn abilities!

Yeah that's my only worry when it comes to Luminous Arc 2. Is there a translation patch? The stylus controls do get annoying in FFTA2. That's why I don't use them, because I'm used to normal FFTA. I played a bit of the first Luminous Arc, the story is bogging me down and the controls I hate, which is rather ironic. They force you into stylus only controls which I believe is counter-intuitive for strategy gaming, as I think the cursor is easier to control in D-Pad mode. However, I'll try out LA2, even if I won't understand anything.
You are aware that the first Luminous Arc has the option to change to D-Pad controls, right?

In into 22 hours playing FFTA2 and have done 18 of the 20 story missions, plus about nearly 50 side missions.

A good FF Game, but can be boring if youre not into tactical games.

The fact that you have to complete a quest to move further into the game startles me.

And the fact that the final boss will wait for us, even 10 years, stnading there, with the ultimate demon in her grasp, and Luso and Adelle doesn't even get older

At least in FFT, Ramza's sprite changed after a few years
