Gaming How hot is your Xbox?

Well, after a bit fiddling with mine, i know pretty much how hot mine is and i challange you guys in a coolness competition, pictures will show later.

Celsius without any fans or anything after 15min.

You would have to use some kind of temp for it, to measure. Either stick it in the fan or hardware mod the whole box. I have a Jtag with freestyle which shows the temperatures.

I edit my numbers now so you understand what is what btw

My Xbox 1 runs at 32c on both cpu and gpu. Its a V1.2 and i still has the stock heat sink and paste.

Here are mine according to Freestyle Dash 1.20. Falcon based Xbox with stock cooling. Temp is given in celsius.

CPU: 43.7
GPU: 51.9
RAM: 57.8
MB: 26.3

When it blows HOT air from the back, it's probably around 50-70c
since at 45 it's still neutral cool. Try to get something to cool it with in that case cannon

I finally got a grip of my camera and i decided to post pretty much everything i own gamevise. So without any further babble.


I bought 4xZalman fans and wired em into a 12volt adapter which leads too the wall, thought it would save me money but in the end it costed me 60euros anyway :'(. I can get more fans now though easy. The HDD is on the xbox, Western Digital mybook 1,5TB.

Keep in mind, if you check your temps after running a game, they're gonna be a lot higher than if you just let it sit in Freestyle Dash or whatever.

GTA4 in particular. That damn game sends my temps way up. Especially the EDRAM (which always seems to be highest on my Falcon anyway).

Not really TBG, beeing idle for 15min is the same for me as playing 2hours (checked with splinter cell and dragon age). That may just be my cooling working as it should do ^^

For some reason just idling on Freestyle Dash makes the temps go higher than they should. On the normal dashboard there is a noticeable difference for me. While I can't exactly measure it in the standard dashboard, the air being pushed out of the vent feels a lot cooler.

ea, i heard the same before. How much higer can it be though? 10degrees max think.

I am very dissipointed, i removed the DVD, installed a 120mm fan shooting up the hot air and improved my temperatues with 1degree, maybe up to 3 at some points.

i thought it would be a big difference.
