I see SICP all around, and it seems to be the basis for many lectures. My impression is that it's just a fantastic programming book regardless of what language you're going to use-- and that sounds quite appealing.
I'm also not a complete 100% beginner, I can handle the basics of loops/nests/arrays in Java, and will be pushing my Java skills alongside the SICP studies.
Do you guys think it's a good avenue,l or should I focus on pushing my hard skills with programming before pushing on theory?
