    1. I was going on vacation, and my cpu is in Chicago (I am going to Miami) does it work?
    2. Can I pick up wifi from my computer here? (It would be awesome if I could play with my friend while on vacation. Thanks!

In theory, as long as you set up your router's ports correctly, you can connect to the DSHobro server on your computer from anywhere you can get wifi access. I haven't tested this personally, but it is a feature of the program.

^ Yeah. It gives you some access code thing and lets you connect from any hotspot apparently

Wow... Didn't know that. I don't see why you'd want to do it though.

Play with your friend while on vacation? DSHobro is a web browser.
Also, your PC will need to be on with the app running.
Then you can use it with an existing WiFi hotspot anywhere.
You can't connect to it without a WiFi hotspot.
