There isn't really a general percentage we could give you, as you can fight the Final boss as soon as you enter the End of Time (if you wanna get ****ed up).

What I can say is that you're close to the end parts, if I consider you haven't done any character-sidequest yet.

Depending on what route you take to the final boss, you have Death Peak and one more (optional) area to explore before you fight him and the credits roll. However, a lot of side-quests open up where you are in the game, and I don't know how many of them you've done.

Go to a walkthrough that shows you how to 100% the game. Find the exact spot you're at. How far you've scrolled down can be used to determine your percentage of completion.

Say you've scrolled 85% of the way down... That would mean your completion rate is 85%.

....that would never work on a non linear game like chrono trigger.

It works on a non-linear game like Radiant Historia.

Aside from Sidequests, Radiant Historia is pretty straightforward ...
And so is Chrono Trigger. You get to choose what stop you get off at, but the train tracks are still there. The story itself is fairly linear, with a number of points on the line that it can be ended, which changes the resolution. At the very end, the game opens up somewhat, and your choices get to have an effect on something other than the game's ending, mostly through optional sidequests. But before then, you're on the same ride as everyone else, and the only difference between Chrono Trigger and most of the other RPGs of the time is that you can end the game at any time, provided you're strong enough to beat the final boss.

I don't think I said otherwise, did I ?
