okay, so giving up on SXOS
used AIO to update to FW 13.2
installed FW using daybreak
set up an SD for AMS
get AMS boot screen then blank

help please.

latest atmosphere doesn’t use fusee_secondary so that’s a big clue that your Hekate_ipl.ini is borked.

I was use "sx os emunand on file" with switch's SD card


Not hide - partition


So dual boot sx os and ams on same sd card basically cant be done


I won't create any hide - partition emunand or emummc



However

Because I want newest game running so i must use 13.0-13.2 firmware


So I need create another 32 GB ams 13.0-13.2 firmware Emummc( just like sx os emunand ) on another SD card right??

I can just copy my entire SD card emunand to a new SD card

Then I update this new sd card emunand to 13.2?!


This way I can keep one SD card with old sx os ( with all the save/ game / cheat )

I will get 13.2 running on ams

And all the game needs to be reinstall?!


All the save / cheat no longer can be use?!

file based is more susceptible to corruption than partition based.

hidden partition is highly recommended but if you don’t want to use then obviously nobody can force you to do so.

this is a way to achieve your goal however I would caution that pulling and pushing SD cards in and out is rough on the SD card slot which is a high failure part on a switch.

yes you can do-y your card and upgrade the copy. Pretty safe way to approach it as you won’t be messing with your main SD card. See note above about wear and tear on your SD card slot though.

Most likely, yes. You could get lucky and not have to reinstall but it’s just not worth the hassle IMO. Just reinstall your games.

No need to lose your saves. Just use JKSV to backup your saves and then restore them afterwards using JKSV again.

Correct. 11.0.0 is the last working FW for SXOS.

I think your initial approach of making a backup and doing all your work on it is your best bet.

There's no reason to lose your saves when switching to Atmosphere. I highly recommend using a hidden partition for emuMMC rather than file-based. Your best bet may be to use JKSV to backup all your saves, and then make a fresh, partition-based emuMMC. Then restore your saves.

Every atmosphere release has the newest payload (same with hekate). Download and use that (for the case you don't have the fusee.bin). And btw. every changelog says, that you have to update the fusee.bin

Yeah…don’t do that. NAND is tied to your console.

010000000000002b is a file system read error. if it works on another Switch that’s concerning as it might point at the SD card reader itself, but there’s some thing we can try.

in Hekate run “fix archive bit” and then reboot. It’s under tools in Hekate.

It's not fixed but the solve is, this switch is now going to be a linux tablet, I'm taking my wife's switch and buying her the OLED model. win win. Thanks for all the help.

You probably have corrupted your prodinfo (the most common case is because of incognito) restore a clean backup of your prodinfo.

Or if you don't have a backup, you can regenerate one.
