Hacking How does one install devmenu?

I've installed savefamefiler using bbm but using bbm to install devmenu doesn't work (invalid cia error at 93 percent)

This is devmenu 6.2 btw, error i get is : This cia is invalid. (0xD8E0806A)

You might have a bad version of it. Mine is version 6.2 and its works perfect.

my version 6.2.0 devmenu.cia has an MD5 of 0A8D383903C58A80236722119A6EE034
my version 4.2.8 devmenu.cia has an MD5 of F1CC3E1E82F77FA3B085B9CA31BE7C49

They both produce this error when installed with either the CIA-installed BBM or .3DS BBM from the GW cartridge.

I find it a bit odd that it says Import Media is CTR NAND when all other CIA files say Import Media is SDMC

You can't use a .cia of devmenu from the sdk, you need to convert a csu or download a preconverted .cia.

put devmenu on root of sd then use BBM.3ds on gateway and boot it up and install devmenu. thats what i did
