So a boot2v4 Wii is NOT bricked after installing cioscorp???
Did i deny that? How many people have bricked because they tried Cioscorp and have boot2v4?

I think cIOSCorp is awsome, but of course, for older Wiis.

I don't use it anymore because of the outdated IOS it uses and the fact that you can't use it on Boot2v4 or it will=brick.

Anyways, if cIOSCorp get's updated to the latests IOS versions, I'm sure I'll install to both my Boot2v3 and Boot2v4 Wiis.

Untill than, I only use CIOS60BF and patching ISOS to load IOS249 and NeoGamma for GhostBusters on my Boot2v3 and NeoGamma all the way for my Boot2v4.

Cheers.

if you bricked ur wii with cioscorp ur a tard i've installed it on 50+ wii's without a single problem.
Only a tard bricks so many Wiis.
I'm gonna lol when he tries to install it on a boot2v4 wii and fails, hopefully offsetting the profitability of whatever scam he's running (why else would you install it on mass?)

only pseudo-hacker experts think CIOSCORP is safe

no matter what you think, CIOSCORP is still a dirty/lazy/unsafe method to get all IOS working the same way... this is also the main reason we see so much threads asking how to make Wii virgin again, because the best hack is the one that modify the original system the less

Also, maybe it didn't brick you yet but it's pure luck because the concept itself is crappy.

Let's wait what Nintendo is planning to do with future IOS updates, it may be very likely we gonna end up with random bricks for people who have CIOSCORP all over the place:
Who can seriously predict what would happen if they try to patch a file or an offset that is not supposed to be here ? You could came up with a corrupted NAND FS more quickly than you thought, just wait for a buggy or less restrictive update process, I don't think Nintendo engineers are testing CIOSCORP'ed Wiis during their quality process

Hi guys, i'm runing HBC, Bootmii and DVDx in latest versions, cIOS8 rev15, syatem menu 4.1U on a USA-NTSC softmoded Wii.
Can i run latest cIOScorp here? What the risks of a brick? And can i and how to go back to normal cios38?
Lastly, if i want to go for cIOS38 rev16 or other, it would be safe?

I don't know, but i stopped that more than once here.

stopped it for what reason? I haven't heard of ANY bootv4 Wiis being bricked because of cIOSCORP. Simply upgrading to 4.2 via Nintendo buts the boot2v4 on your Wii and I have placed cIOSCORP on countless vergin 4.2 Wiis.

the 4.2 update itself is known to cause more bricks than anything
