kk there are two ways
there is using dev kit pro using c/c++ to write ds games/apps
or
Palib which is c/c++ as well but its easier that dev kit pro. Palib was used to make little 2d game but it getting better and has a lot of 3d ish games and good apps.
Start with palib then move onto dev kit pro if you want to (my suggestion to you)
