Gaming how do you deal with your old game consoles?

I have a gamecube with some games, can't sell on ebay.

plan to give someone as gift,but no one wanna it.

how do you deal with your old game consoles?

Agreed. Keep'em in a box until the day comes when you want to relive some of those classic GameCube moments.

Like getting the master sword in Ocarina of Time, Killing the hellspawn in Killer 7, or unlocking Game & Watch in Smash Bros. Melee.

well, currently, I don't have any old consoles my cousin didn't steal or didn't get fried. But starting next gen, they'll all stay in my basement, where al my video games are.

i guess an xbox 360 in working order will be worth some good bucks in a few years when M$ cans customer service.

I've kept all mine, most are at my parents though until I get a bigger house.

I like to have a collection and also its much better to relive certain games on the console they were made for.

In my sig are my current systems, DS Phat, Wii (and I still have GameCube games for it), XBOX, and Sega Saturn.

I've modded my Saturn to play (J) games and backups.

I've modded my XBOX (softmod) with the XBox Media Center dashboard, and play all my movies and games from an external network drive.

I have a G6 DS Real 8Gb flash cart for my DS Phat.

I've TP hacked the HELL out of my Wii, but no physical harm will ever come to my Wii.

I still have an old NES (still in perfect working order), but since I have an LCD TV now, I can't play duck hunt on it

My dad has my SNES, and I let my sister borrow my N64.

I will NEVER sell any of my old consoles again, since as stated, emulation is not perfect, and it's just much more fun to play Super Mario Bros. with the real 2 button NES Game Pad.

I keep all of mine nowadays. I gave my old Atari 2600 away to in-laws, and now I can kick myself the @55 for doing it. Damn I loved that thing.

I have a good friend who bought an N64 with a Z64, DC, and an old x-box after seeing what they were capable of doing. After newer generations came out he sold them for pennies, inluding peripherals and software. I´d never do that. Ever.

Those things are still under my tv in my Nintendo cabinet. Mostly they collect dust, but every once in a while I just get an urge to play around with them a little. Especially my N64.

Backwards compatable?, Okay, maybe for those who never had the old consoles to start with, but nothing comes close to the real thing.

I open them up and practice soldering on them. I did PS2 mods a few years ago so before that I would practice soldering to bios chips on my old Dreamcast... Mind you it was broken so I didn't feel bad borking it up.
