Huh? So I still ned Luma 7.1?The Guide is up to date. Regardless of the wording in the guide, the upgrade method still remains the same.
No, you just need to run SafeBS9Installer. It doesn't matter what CFW you are using, so long as you can boot into the B9S payloads.Huh? So I still ned Luma 7.1?
So I just replace the old firm files with the updated ones and then install them via SafeB9Sintaller? Sorry noob here lolNo, you just need to run SafeBS9Installer. It doesn't matter what CFW you are using, so long as you can boot into the B9S payloads.
You could even name the SafeBS9Installer.firm to "boot.firm" and upgrade that way.
Dude, stop, you're confusing me.No you need 6.6......
Aye, you just set it up the same way as the guide says, expect for the Luma3DS parts. Here let me just copy and edit the partsSo I just replace the old firm files with the updated ones and then install them via SafeB9Sintaller? Sorry noob here lol

Create a folder named boot9strap on the root of your SD card
Copy SafeB9SInstaller.firm from the SafeB9SInstaller .zip to the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card
Copy boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha from the boot9strap .zip to the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card
Reinsert your SD card into your device
Reboot holding (Start) during boot to launch the Luma3DS chainloader menu
Launch SafeB9SInstaller by pressing (A)
Wait for all safety checks to complete
When prompted, input the key combo given to install boot9strap
Once it has completed, press (A) to reboot your device
Power off your device

It depends on the boot9strap.firm/.sha on your SD in the boot9strap directory. Latest one is available here https://github.com/SciresM/boot9strap/releasesI used the safe installer, but no mention of which version it was installing nor a url from which it might retrieve. Is there a way to check which version I'm on?
Ok, sorry. I installed when 1.2 came out, so I hadn't updated it before. It depends on the boot9strap.firm/.sha on your SD in the boot9strap directory. Latest one is available here https://github.com/SciresM/boot9strap/releases
Yes, just but the 1.3 .firm and .sha in your boot9strap folder then run SafeB9SInstallerCan I hitchhike and ask a question?
I Still need to update to 1.2 (I am still on 1.1). Can I update it directly to 1.3?
Just like with all updates, if it ain't broke don't fix it.Is there a need to update if you aren't using ntrboot?
Nodoes luma need to be updated to support the newest boot9strap?
