Hacking how do i update applications and loaders

so i hacked my Wii back in 2014 using modmii and im wanting to know how to update applications and loaders such as usb loader and the like im new to all this

wich loader you use? cuz some loaders need update the entire folder on the root of SD card.

i use usb lodaer GX for Wii and nintendont for GCN
