Use NeoGamma, activate Alternate DOL from Disk in it's options, start the game and select the DOL you wish.
so witch DOL do I need for "Metroid Prime Trilogy" ?? Do I need to get it from the game ore something.. ?

You have to rename the game's dol you want to play to R3ME01.dol, enable the option and play. The game is going to boot, instead of MPT's menu.

Other than that, I have no idea.

Where does the dol come from? Is there a tutorial on how to do all this.

you need a program call wiiscrubber to extract the needed dol file each game that needs the alt-dol method needs a different dol extracted from the game .iso

Thanks for the response, but can you link me to a tutorial if available.

don't need use wiiscubber like first poster said just use alt dol from disk and play. When u load the iso with alt dol from disk option on, it show u dols u can use with ourt having to scrub and put on sd. Just select right one and play

no you don't ... "alt dol from disc" means the loader scan's the disc image to find all the possible .dol files. It will then ask you which one you want to use.

Is there a way it can scan the SD card for all possible .dol files, and then I could choose which .dol to use for the specific game (in my instance, metroid prime trilogy would need 3 different .dol's)???

If the dol is on the disc, the alt .dol from disk will find it. It shows you all the dols and you pick which one to load. I don't see why you need it on your SD card when the disk method is so much easier.

no, for a start its against the rules, and its copyrighted. you have been told many times you dont actually need the .dol file, as many usb loaders can load the .dol from the disk/iso. much easier that way, as opposed to manually extracting the .dol from the disk/iso with wiiscrubber, then copying to sd card.

Because it requires a disc

Not true. Perhaps the name for it is a bit misleading...
But you can do it with the iso that's on the hard drive. You don't actually need a real physical disc at all.

i thought it sounded misleading too, hence why i said disk/iso in my reply.

Wait... what that is awesome! Can't believe I never understood that. Learn something new every day I guess.
