Android how do I delete camera pictures

I took a picture from my camera. I then deleted it from the gallery but whenever I open the camera app, there is a small picture of the picture I deleted on the top right (if held in landscape). Anyone know how to get rid of this?

What camera are you using?

Have a look inside your camera folder for a .thumbnails subfolder or something similar. It's a good place to start.
