To be accepted on the Temp, you just need to do what you can. You don’t need fancy equipment or anything like that. You got a shit laptop, I think it would be interesting to learn what emulators you got working on it by default and even what you did to make more work. You can always ask questions and gather information

Helping people out would make their consoles less inexpensive? :wtf:

as someone who's pretty new here all i gotta say is from learning is just to do what you've already been doing
there are people here who say shit to you just to get rise out of you like any place on the net, i say laugh it off
and move on, there are people here who are very blunt with things but you can tell they don't mean harm, overall
this is one of the few places where i felt it was easy to interact with people even if alot of these people don't consider me
as a friend i still appreciate the positive interactions i have had, that's what's important, loneliness is a bitch but know that
whenever you feel that way you really aren't and it's definitely easier said than done to understand that, but i advise you to keep getting out there and socializing whether it be here or irl, you'll find your comfort zone it just takes time, i have faith you'll
get there!

This is a place where people and thoughts gather; you have gamed yourself with an idea that there was an acceptance beyond username, e-mail, and password ;)

My lurking brings your name up at times, and I perceive you equally to others, for what that's worth.

It should actually be a reverse train of thought the more you don't want others to like you the more they will which is why I discovered not caring who likes me or doesn't. The ones that do will come around eventually.

Yeah I feel that people here mock me too frequently

For standalone emus iirc I use snes9x, fceux, project64-legacy, mgba, duckstation, fs-uae, scummvm and my main multi-emulators are bizhawk and RAlibretro

As my friend @Alexander1970 says: "XP not matters.."
In games however exp is ALL THAT MATTERS!
Erhm I mean, good equipment, skills...

He said A, I was continuing the alphabet
Next would be... C?
Then I can certainly "C" something interesting happening!

My PC can only emulate up to the N64, PS1 and the nintendo ds
Hmm that's pretty good actually, there are tons of good games up to this point.

I can't afford the expensive stuff everyone here talks about and I only have a couple (working) consoles
You want to feel accepted here? You need to talk about flash carts. Do you have any for your consoles? GBA era was when flashcarts really became mainstream. And flash cart reviews and homebrew is a part of gbatemp's history of how it united the gaming community.

I feel you miss the point of gbatemp. It's specifics are for gaming news and general gaming discussion. No one cares about one specific thing here or that would be boring.
