Currently there are two methods. You can use the trainer to replace apples as items by editing the name, or you can change the normal arrow to the item you want and just keep pulling out your bow to drop it on the ground.

The arrow method will not work for Armor though.

Here is an example guide using apples. Any item will work.

    • Have no Apples
    • Pick up apple
    • change apple to cap of time using trainer
    • pick up new apple
    • change to tunic of time using trainer.
    • save
    • reload
    • now you have no apples still and cap and tunic of time.
PS> The reason I use apples is cause they are everywhere.

Page is so you can manually sort the items before doing a reload. So if you switched a junk bow for example into the Nintendo Switch DLC Shirt, you could put it on the right page (armor). I did notice this can cause odd menu effects until a reload though, such as adding an extra version of the equipment category. If you do not change the page, saving and reloading your save file will change them automatically.
