Hacking Hotel Dusk flickering problem

Hello, I recently bought an DSI XL and I also have a Acekard 2i with AKAIO 1.71 loader. I noticed today that when I play Hotel Dusk both screens flicker at the sides. Does anyone else have this problem as i don't know whether its the DSI, Rom or the Loader.

I have a regular DSi, and the game gives me no problems. Sorry I'm not of much help, hope you figure it out.

Thanks i figured it out, i downgraded to AKAIO 1.7

I have the same problem as OP, also using 1.7.1.

It's not really game-breaking but it gets to be a tad annoying.
