Like said just above your post : burn on Verbatim DVD-R with imgburn, 2,4x setting.

Not for me. I dont need Vertbatim DVD-R at all. I burn on regular Sony DVD-R with imgburn, 3x setting, and it runs fine for me (as far as I have tested).

Sony media can be good, but I've had bad luck with their dual layer media. Best reference I've ever found on the topic of burnable media:

I've stuck with Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim since I first was introduced to that page and haven't had a problem since, except for one slip up where I bought Sony DL

What do I need to go to get the PAL version working on my NTSC Wii? CIOS7?

idk bout pal working on ntsc but i doknow ther is a alot of problems with hod overkill pal ive got a ntsc verision and works grate

i used PAL version on PAL wii on my first playthrough it crashed at the Jasper fight which apparently the original does too. only problem i ever had with it, apart from the sometimes stuttering frame rate when the wii is reading the disc but i guess that' sbecause of the lower read speed in gamma.
