HorizonOS 20.1.5 - update?

So my Switch 2 unit just won't let me play Splatoon at all unless I flash HorizonOS 20.1.5.

However, I've heard rumours of some ROP-chain exploit being possible with HorizonOS 20.1.1 and MKW 1.1.0 (both of which are on my device). Are those rumours worth anything or should I just update and not mind them?

Just play your games, if you want to preserve potential attack surface for a homebrew enabling exploit, the only sure fire way is to put your console back in the box it came in and shove it in a closet

This was a very fishy, unsubstantiated rumor. What they claimed they were able to do should not require MKW.
