Hello! I just bought a wii and have tried everything, bought a seagate 1tb which Ive downloaded all things necessary from different youtube videos, i also found a sd card at home. When i download homebrew i cant download the bootmii file i have tried letterbomb and str2
When i open homebrew i dont get any apps and i have also downloaded apps on hard drive and i cant open it in usb mode.
The homebrew is completely empty whatever i do.
I also get error in str2 when doing it manually when trying to download bootmii. Help please!!

You're not making much sense. Take a deep breath, forget all those youtube videos, and either use wii.hacks.guide or modmii, read carefully, and you should be fine

Yeah i redid wii hacks like 3 times yesterday with both the str2 technique and the letterbomb but it doesnt download the bootmii it just says error. Do you think it has to do with the sd card? Bought a new one a sandisk 32gb sdhc so im gonna try it out if its the sd thats at fault, the main problem is that whenever i do the procedure and open up the homebrew it doesnt load any apps so im stuck there. All these videos shows that the apps pop up inside the homebrew so from there i should be able to download games etc but i cant even get a single app to the homebrew. I have tried loading up the apps from both my hdd (format fat32) and sdd also reformatted to fat32

What do you have saved to your sd and or usb? If u press 1 do u have options to select sd or usb or all they disabled?

So u must have run the hackmii installer to install the hbc. But you weren't able to install bootmii? Depending on the error it could be an issue with the sd card, make sure it's formatted correctly and not write protected by a lock switch or anything, or try a dif sd card.

It just says error (1) when running the bootmii installer inside the homebrew installer, i think you might be right about trying a different sd card because mine is empty and formatted to fat32. I will get a sandisk 32gb tomorrow and will try again starting over from the wii hack guide with that sd, thank you for your inputs
