Hacking Homebrew you're looking forward to the most

So, there's no news on the hacking front. May never happen. Just so that's out of the way...

If the device ever does get hacked, what are you looking forward to the possibility seeing the most?

I'm personally looking forward to the idea of seeing the original Doom in 3D. That would be uber. Does the 3DS even have a first person shooter yet? Seems odd if not, you would have thought that'd be an ideal fit for the system.

It would be immensely great to see Quake 1 or Quake 2 in 3D

a perfect RUNNING snes emulator and possibly, a PS1 emulator.

Moonshell 3. That little beast made it through both Bleach AND One Piece, and I'd love to see a follow-up program by the same genius who made the original two.

Well yea, any game could be put on the eShop, so long as a developer creates it.

You know that might not be a bad little business model, start up as an indi dev, licence some old school games that people actually want to pay, bring them to eShop. Trouble is with 3DS it wouldn't just be straigtforward porting, not if you wanted to 3Dify it up.

the only things that i would beg for would be emulators... and even though i know psp is the best i could get my hands for emulation atm but....having nes snes gba gb/c and hell even n64 looks more like...legit ;p seriously its a stupid thing to wait for 3ds emulators than getting a psp but to me really matters lol

It's likely going to be a long time before the 3DS is able to do any homebrew emulation the PSP can't do.

I agree. Emulation could potentially run better on 3ds than psp anyway.
Game up top, options, save state etc on bottom.
I'm still waiting for a proper killer instinct 1 arcade version on a portable device.
A near flawless snes, gba, n64 would be great too.
If they figured out how to have the emulators run in 3d, that would be great!

Also, because of the way the SNES deals with layers, I had this thought of SNES3D..

Emulators, that work as well as the Wii ones (hopefully better for n64) and of course, a virtual boy emu.
