Hi,

Is there any homebrew that can poweroff the wii u gamepad without poweroff the wii u?

It's really boring to let it powered ON and wait for it battery to be completly empty

Or you take the battery out of hte gamepad.

Or walk to the other side of your street until the GamePad loses signal, then walk it back inside and watch as it doesn't try to reconnect.

Lol I think I found a function that can shut off the GamePad screen only

HOME Menu -> Controller Settings -> Turn Off Display
This doesn't turn off the GamePad, just the display, but as long as you don't press anything, you should be fine.

Has been a feature of loadiine for at least some months.

There used to be this one method where you click the sync button on the gamepad and then turn it off, completely turning off the gamepad, but the problem is that it would unsync it.

The other way is to launch something like Mii Maker, then exit and when the "Wii U" splash logo appears on the gamepad, quickly hold the power button to only turn it off.

That also turns off the console (unless the GamePad isn't connected to the console, or the console has frozen/crashed).
