Hacking Emulation Homebrew (Homebrew Request) Retroarch compatibility with (Wii U formatted) hard drive

Since Nintendont has compatibility with wii u formatted drive (through teconmoon or uwuvci atleast) would it be possible to do something similar with retroarch or any other emulators? Maybe you can sort out the roms through ftpiiu? I think the OTP file lets you scan the drive??

Right, retroarch can load games from the wiiu formatted disk. You have to upload via ftp though.

How does that work? I thought Ftpiiu can only access SD-Card?

Wii U FTP Server, Ftpiiu Everywhere or set the option to see anything in Aromas FTP Plugin.

My way of adding retroarch games to Wii U formated USB is to dump the RetroArch forwarder to it's code, content and meta folders and place all roms in the content folder and repack it with NUSPacker and it works that way.
