Hacking Homebrew Question...

I been reading on here about the 3DS System Updates and Homebrew related stuff. I heard something about using Parental Controls to prevent System Updates, is that correct? What about games that say you need to update to play them? Thoughts GREATLY appreciated

They mean turn Wifi off, and use parental controls to stop anybody from turning it back on.

And you can't get past new game carts needing updates before running yet. So you won't be able to play new games.

I think what the op is asking is if there is a way to use parental controls to stop games from installing an update. Not to get passed updating and playing the game, but blocking the game from running at all and updating the console
