Hi All,

I managed to get the above operating system on my psp fine.
Actually easier to upgrade from 3.71 m 33 then i thought.
Now im wondering what do i need and how do i do it to get homebrew working on my psp?
A guide or step by step instructions would be muchly appreciated.

Cheers

So you had 3.71 M33 installed and now switched to 3.90 M33 and still don't know how homebrew works?
Just download and play, man...for further questions consult google

I can help you with the homebrew if you can help me install 3.90 from 3.71

Did you have to go from 3.71(m33-4) -> 3.80 -> 3.90? Or how did you do go about this?

For homebrew, you just place it in the PSP/Game folder as posted Vater Unser

For emulator, you place the emulator in the PSP/Game folder and the ROMs will go in the ROM folder under that specific emulator.

For PSP ISOs, you place them in a folder that you will manually create. It will be on the root of the card called "ISO". You can place both PSP ISO and CSO (Compressed ISO) in this folder.

PS1 games will be placed in the PSP/Game folder. The PS1 game should be housed in a folder with the SCUS #. This will already be there if you download it, or if you create the game yourself.

When you turn on your PSP, you will go to Game -> Memory Card -> then just select what you would like to play.

Hope this helps. I will try to find you a link or site.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new here too.

Just got my PSP with 3.90 m33-2. Under settings, there seems to be no "enable Flash" option.
Is that Standard? I do know we don't have Skype. Or is there a way to have it as well with the custom firmware?

[edit] ok, "Enable Flash" seems to be for series 1k only.... so how do we have flash for series 2k (slim)?

Isnt flash pre-enabled, for Slims? Check the recovery menu, it says flash enabled
(Power up holding R) Then select advanced options or something.

I jus had to try the new thingy.
EDIT- it didnt work

Yup you do need to add that 1.50 kernal, Shane.

Code:
150 kernel addon for 3.90 M33 (psp phat only)

- Copy 150k_addon to /PSP/GAME
- Get sony 1.50 update and copy it to the root with name “150.PBP”
- Run the program and done.
