If you are able to launch emunand then it's not the payload. Cause that's what loads the boot manager and emunand in the first place.

And it works from emunand so it's not the boot file.

That truly honestly makes me thing it's bad settings in ctrbootmanager.

No no no. If using menuhax just have to use menuhax manager.
The problem is that when he tries loading it with browserhax in SysNAND, it loads "boot.3dsx" (the bootloader) and the 10.5 payload he is/was using. But since his SysNAND version is 9.2 and not 10.5, the problem lies there. Also, the payloads on that site are the same that the menuhax manager downloads.

Cool, and is it the ropbin or otherapp?
Ropbin.

Dude. WRONG. HE CAN LOAD EMUNAND. HES ALREADY USING A GOOD PAYLOAD

just do me a favor. Post your ctrbootmanager file.

EmuNAND doesn't rely on a payload. I've mentioned this already. If his SysNAND version was 10.5, he wouldn't be having this issue because that is where menuhax is installed. I promise you.

Am I suppose to rename the payload? This one I downloaded is named differently then the old one. Trying it as is still gives me red screen after selecting HBL from ctr 9after of coarse editting it do look at my hbll.3dsx instead of boot.3dsx).

Menuhax is the jzvgaksoshud...

Whatever. Don't listen. Menuhax is the fucking payload. If he can acces ctrbootmanager then he's already able to launch the fricken payload.

@Bjnido35, do me a favor. Take ctrbootmanager out of the equation.

On your sd card name your boot ctr file something else temporarily.

And name your homebrew menu boot.3dsx

See if it can load the homebrew menu. If it can then I swear to all that is homebrew it is your ctrbootmanager configuration.

No, the file name should be left as-is. What I don't understand is how you ended up with a 10.5 payload in the first place if you installed menuhax after downgrading. Unless of course you installed menuhax in EmuNAND, which is a no-no.

@Xenosaiga
My menuhax is using a seperate payload from hbl from the looks of my sd card so idk if that's it?

@Joom
It may be because I held X+Y while booting my hbl cia for first time, as that's what I heard you are supposed to do to make it work.

You already have menuhax setup on sysnand. It automatically launches ctrbootmanager when you turn on the system to launch homebrew.

So you already have the sysnand homebrew setup.

Just do me a favor. Treat your 3ds like you don't use ctrbootmanager and just setup like you are accusing homebrew menu with menuhax. Ok?

Duh. I've been saying that and you keep wanting to argue.
Sorry. Like I mentioned, beer. Plus I just got home from work so my train of thought is double scrambled. I just became even more confused since he said he has a 10.5 payload, which would prevent menuhax from even working. So, yeah. I apologize.

@Joom
Which? boot.cfg?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Actually, I just found the problem, my cfg is telling the HBL option to go to HBL.3dsx, which is NOT what mine is called...

EDIT: That is what the guy in the tutorial I followed told me to call it, but I didnt want it to be that. so.. :P

Welp, that'll do it. Now I feel dumb. Sorry for all the unnecessary information and arguing.

It's cool. Both lost it a little.

Mine sleep deprivation due to insomnia though. X.X

As long as the problem got fixed.

No hard feelings mate?
