it's said on first post that it doesn't.

Also, this method is old and used the official SDK to create the channel, which as a result is illegal to share.
Since September 2018 there is now a way to generate legal NSP installable titles, maybe you should try it instead?

if your album icon redirects to hbmenu.nro, then you'll miss some RAM, some homebrew will not work. Applet have only limited RAM, so the album applet is not the best for homebrew.
if your album icon launch hbmenu.nsp (pfs0 file named .nsp on SD card), or you install the installable nsp channel then you'll have full RAM access.

with atmosphere you can choose which installed channel can be redirected to load the pfs0 hbmenu.nsp located on SD card.
sd:/atmosphere/loader.ini
Code:
[config]
hbl_tid=010000000000100D
hbl_path=atmosphere/hbl.nsp
override_key=!ZR

100D is the album applet, which is loading a full pfs0 program (hbl.nsp), not the hbmenu.nro
If you don't have Atmosphere, you'll need another method to get full RAM access for your homebrew.

PS: to anyone, Correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't verify my info.

no, this "hbl.nsp" is NOT a real "nsp" in the sense that you cannot install using tinfoil/DZ/Goldleaf.
it's actually a "nfs0" format, not a "installable package".

There is an installable forwarder channel if you want.
hbmenu_loader.nsp (installable) which will launch hbmenu.nro on your SD card.

it will not rely on applet, so it will (should) grant full RAM access. Again, someone correct me if I'm wrong!
