Hacking Homebrew Launcher - Red Screen

Hello everyone,

as most people here are doing these days, I'm following 3ds.guide to install arm9loaderhax to my New 3DS. Unfortunately, I am stuck at step #14, where I have to launch HBL and perform the DSP Dump.

Whenever I try to launch HBL, it gets stuck with the bottom screen being red. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

if the HBL gets stuck on a screen of any color it's a failed boot. I can only say try again, as that usually fixes it for me.

I've already tried more than twenty times in a row, with no succes. It always gets stuck at the red screen. Any other reason why this happens?

Are you able to run FBI or lumaupdater?

Make sure you have boot.3dsx on the root of your SD card.

FBI and lumaupdater are properly running, I believe. But I indeed don't see a boot.3dsx in the root directory.
Where do I get this from?

Get the starter pack and extract it to your SD.

Okay, that worked and I am finally done with the installation!
