I've got Firefox working via Linux on my xbox with Flash 9 installed but it's not able to play video at full speed due to the ram limitations. So I'm not sure it would be much faster on a Wii.

ATM I think the Wii homebrew scene is quite strong and has many very intelligent and driven people working on different projects. It's just a matter of time before we get new breakthroughs that address the wants and needs mentioned in this thread.

NeoGenesis I'm not sure how old you are but it's best to be humble and just ask your question outright without any extra fluff because often times it comes across wrong and you end up having to defend your comments rather than continue with a constructive conversation on the topic you started.

It all goes back to maturity and humility.

Well, I'm 30 years old, and a father of 2. Does no one here understand the phrase "tongue in cheek"?
The way I worded my question may have sounded brash or pretentious, but I certainly didn't mean for it to be taken it that way.
I'm not going to take it personally, anything anyone else does is there choice, so others will take it the way they will.
I perfectly understand the ins and outs of forum etiquette, I just didn't think people would be so serious.
Tongue in cheek, lol my cheeks are sore from that.

I do appreciate your post, it was one of the more mature replies I've gotten so far.
Around here, at the very least, I'll try to phrase my questions with a more formal approach in mind from now on.

However to help with your Xbox issue, have you tried Navi-X?
I found it works great for watching Family Guy and such on Adult-Swim.
Also you can download some good TV plugins, although they don't always last long before they break

Oh and it's not too terribly hard to solder in more RAM, you can order it online and good ol' Microsoft left us a spot right there on the Motherboard!

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
