Hacking Homebrew Channel upgrade not working

When I attempt to upgrade my HBC from 7 to 8, I get all the way to the end, and then it tells me that my installation was corrupt... but I can use it just fine...

I installed it via TP hack... and I don't know what I should do... there's no way to turn off updating, so I get this message every time I load it...

Are you attempting to update wirelessly through the channel itself?

If so, just try updating via the new ELF.
