Hacking Homebrew Channel Help

Hi All,

I have the homebrew channel working fine but i have seen that it can update itself.
Do i need to configure a setting or add another file so that it can connect to the net?

No, as long as you have WiiConnect24 on, you're good to go.

I don't even think you need that.

My WiiConnect24 has never been on but my HBC updated itself perfectly.

Ive been on the homebrew channel site and it said about setting up wiiload to connect to the net.
Do i have to do this?
My wii can connect to the net already is that all i need?

yes aslong as your wii has wireless access it will update its self, nothing else is needed, no other software of PC programs

that's just an extra feature. wiiload allows you to stream an elf of dol file to your wii through your wireless network.
