Hacking homebrew channel hangs...

hey guys,

i just installed the homebrew channel onto my pal d2ckey wii...i used the installer iso, which was far eaiser then the twilight hack installation. Ok, the problem is, is when i run the new homebrew channel, it says reading sdcard, then it just hangs, the little lizard icon thing in the far bottom right hand corner lights up, but it just the bubbles continuelsy rise...

I dont know what the problem is, has any one else recieved this problem?

Have you any Gamecube Memorycard in Slot-B? I had the same Problem, removed the Memcard and it worked fine.

Another problem could be the formatting of the card, is it's filesystem fat16?

it doesnt hang in loading so mem card may not be the issue

maybe its the sd card format of you dont have an apps folder

i just formatted it to make sure, still same problem, what does the exact format have to be on the sd card? like the file layout? exactly...

do you already have apps?

yeh i downloaded the apps thing of the website..and added a snes9x .elf aswell in a new file...

x:\apps\(name)

and also check if the wii is reading the sd card through the data management menu

yeh iv set it out like that...it does recognise the front sd slot right??

i wonder why nothings happeneing...and it just bubbles...

are you sure the wii recognizes you sd?
